I just don't have carp on top as you do. Cottonwood seeds are abundant now though and they do eat them. However, what is the large fly you have nicely tied represent to your fish?
Yokohama, not to far from Camp Zama, in Sobudai!!!!! I fish in the Sakai river around Machida and the Sakai near Yamato station. My son likes the Sagami River, but he does not fly fish. so any suggestions on where to fish for carp on the fly?

返信削除In Japan, there are many people who fish in the carp to feed on the bread.
So, fly fluffy white bread that looks like is effective.
I use that for white Egg-yarn.
It is just like the bread.

そう易々とは釣れませんからね。
僕自身は、トップでしか狙わないので
水面でパクパクしてるようなヤル気のある鯉を探して
一匹づつ狙って釣るようにしてます。
簡単にフライを咥えてくれる時もあれば
ちょっと不自然にドラグが掛かっただけで逃げちゃったり
これがなかなか奥が深いですよ。
大物とのやり取りの練習にもなりますしね
ぜひぜひ、狙ってみてください。
